GeekModish has been around in one form or another for a long time. It actually started over a decade ago as a physical product shop on Etsy. We loved making things for people who shared our interests, but as our own lives shifted toward software and content creation, the site went quiet. Our last real post was back in 2012.
Now, we're returning to those roots. The format has changed from physical goods to digital tools and communities, but the goal is exactly the same as it was on day one: making "trendy things for geeky people."
We focus on the intersection of utility and play. That means we build things that solve problems, but we don't think they have to be boring. From mobile-first scavenger hunts to encyclopedias for new entrepreneurs, our goal is to build niche digital properties that people actually enjoy using.
